I have been practicing law for over 20 years and my entire legal career has centered on helping the average person. I have represented small investors against large corporations which have committed securities fraud as well as employees who have been victims of unfair and/or discriminatory employment practices. I have always represented plaintiffs and have litigated complex class actions in state and federal courts across the country.
I received my J.D. from New York Law School in 1989, 10 years to the day that I received my B.A. from the State University of New York at Fredonia. I attended law school at night while holding down a full time job. I know the challenges of working, going to school and having a family.
My dad was very proud of me when I became a lawyer. He believed and instilled in me that we are entitled to nothing but the opportunity to work hard and that hard work should pay off. But sometimes even hard work doesn’t pay off especially if your employer is treating you unfairly. If you have been cheated out of a fair day’s pay or your tips have been wrongfully withheld or you have been the victim of age or race discriminated, maybe I can help.
